Let the games begin!

We had so much fun at our Garner Reunion this year! Robb and Jeanne planned it and the theme went around the olympics! There are a ton of pics - but it represents the ton of things we did. . .

DAY 1

We started the reunion off with a tour of the Twin Falls
Temple, which, of course was beautiful.

We then had opening ceremonies - we all made flags (see below). We passed the torch through all the families.
My dad lit the Olympic cauldron.
These are our flags - we all represented the countries where someone in our family served a mission

1)Devin and Erin - Chile 2) Richard and Kristen - Peru
3) Chris and Jodi - Brazil 4) mom and dad - Korea (Stacy)
5) Robb and Jeanne - Argentina 6) Aaron and Kim - USA

After lighting the torch we enjoyed smores.

The boys finished setting up the Wiffle Ball Park. They designed - or more correctly my brother Richard designed an amazing back stop.

Then we had a blast in a late night game of wiffle ball.

Day 2
Robb and Jeanne planned events for us to compete in:

The Equestrian

Jump Rope

Hit the golf ball into the swimming pool

The high dive - kid style

High dive - big kid style

We spent the rest of the afternoon on the gigantic slip-n-slide.

After the adults went to dinner, we put the kids to bed and had a late night big kid rock band jam session.

On Sunday we had a dinner with things from the countries where missions were served.

We did garlic mashed potatoes .

Chris and Jodi did fresh Limade (I think that is what you call it).

Robb made Melanesa (sp?).

Devin made this yummy scone type thing in a yummy honey/clovey type sauce, maybe?. I am not quite sure what was all in it.

We made Kim Bop in honor of Stacy.

Rich and Kristen made something yummy from Peru, which I don't think anyone knows what is in the sauce but it does have boiled eggs and potatoes in it!

All of this made for a very delicious meal!

To end the night we had a talent show - everyone did so great and we had some great laughs!
Ash and Kailyn sang You're a Grand Old Flag and Wyatt gurgled water (My camera died after the talent show so I didn't get it on camera - or the flag taking down ceremony) It was a great reunion and so fun to visit with the family! We have such a great family!
